How do I choose an air duct cleaning company in Alaska?
All 6 Alaska companies here hold 4.5 stars or better.
- A written, itemized quote before work starts: what's included, any access fees, and no extras without your OK.
- The scope covers the supply and return ducts, the blower and the coils, not just the vent covers.
- Ask how debris is collected (negative-pressure collection) and how your ducts and home are protected.
- Before-and-after photos of your own system.
- Mold claims come with evidence, such as a sample or a test, before any chemical treatment.
- Walk away from bait "whole-house" prices.
- For repair or sealing work, check the contractor's Alaska license with Alaska's Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing.
